I love written language – both in Finnish and in English. I am a quick writer and used to express myself in Finnish and English, spoken and official language and corporate and scientific text.
I am a person with hands on experience in writing content for business, third sector, public sector, national and international purposes. I am eager to learn more and challenge myself with different kind of content creating projects.
Here are some examples of what I have done with written language, both work and off-duty related:
ARTICLES IN PAPERS AND ONLINE JOURNALS
“Reippaillen työnhakua”, Insinööriliiton verkkolehti, 12.5.2014.
“Uratehtaalta draivia työnhakuun”, EkonomiEnergiaa, s. 16-17, 01/2014.
“PIOTTY on nyt Uratehdas”, Insu, s. 8-9, 01/2014.
“PIOTTY:ssa ennätysmäärä työllistyneitä projektilaisia”, Insu, s. 10-11, 4/2003.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
In my current job, I write content to Uratehdas LinkedIn -groups, blog, do social media marketing and promote our events in various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Pinterest, Prezi, Facebook, Twitter etc.)
I create and write also Uratehdas event handouts and coaching material, as well as material for different interest goups.
In my current jobs I also create and write for example:
Weekly letters for businesses, associations and project members // Event invites, handouts, flyers, marketing material with InDesign // Press releases // articles // B2B and B2C letters and marketing material // campaign and event materials
I write articles and presentations for academic purposes also. I wrote my final thesis in Finnish and currently writing my PhD and scientific articles in English. During my studies and doctoral path, I have gained deep understanding in rules and details typical to academic writing.
On my freetime I write and draw books for children. I am currently writing a book for toddlers called “My son, the sealion” which is a fairytale of a mom and her son sailing around exotic waters around the world.
I also enjoy writing poems and rhyme a lot on everyday situations.
We'll be in touch real soon!
